Offseason Hot Stove Report #6

News and notes.
The Scottsdale Redlegs have placed Les Shannon on the trade block seeking to move his salary.
They will also look to be active in the offseason. They plan an aggressive approach to add several needs such as SP and bullpen additions.

The Kansas City Tequila Drinkin Barflies appear intent on trading air for valuable players this offseason. "They plan to make huge additions but put all their valuable assets as untouchable." One AL GM said on the condition of anonymity.

The Mexico City Sombreros are very close to having a fire sale on their franchise. Their primary focus seems to be in the outfield but they will look to improve in all facets.

The
Memphis Screaming Mimes have placed Cesar Figureoa on the trade block. "Figs" has his sights set on a big pay raise this season. The team is making the arbitration eligible youngster available for the right price. Several teams have expressed interest in the firebrander but only time will tell who strikes gold.

The
Honolulu Sun Gods are seeking to use all avenues to bring in some players to shore up a very leaky bullpen.

The
Charlotte Orange Crush have placed feelers out to several teams as they attempt to bring in a star SS to shore up their middling infield.

The Texas Heat plan to scale back salaries and age this offseason as they plan to deal off some pieces for youth. The target is pitching and prospects.

The Pittsburgh Steel Makers 2 have made it know they are willing to do some wheeling and dealing this offseason. They have placed a price on every player's head and if it is met they will be sent packing.

The Colorado Springs Starrs are looking to upgrade their porous infield by adding a SS and a 3B.

The
Chicago Hawks have made it known that they are willing to deal any of their hitters for a top end SP.
